Crisis Support
(Established clients only)
If crisis support is needed and results in the extension of a regularly scheduled session, the following fee applies:
0-10 minutes NO CHARGE
>10 minutes $165 per 50 minutes
This fee is to account for any sessions I may need to cancel in order to provide appropriate crisis care.
I am not available for on-call or 24/7 crisis support outside of regularly scheduled sessions.
Insurance
I do not accept insurance.
I can provide you with an itemized and coded receipt (superbill) that you can submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement (depending on your benefits - please verify your out-of-network coverage prior to the start of treatment).
Accepted Payment Methods
I accept all major credit cards including HSA and FSA. Your credit card will be kept on file in a HIPAA compliant electronic health records system and charged at the time of your appointment.
Cancellation Policy
I require at least 24 hours notice for cancellations or reschedules in order to avoid the full session fee. Exceptions may be made for emergencies or if there is availability to reschedule within the same week.
Good Faith Estimate
The No Surprises Act is a federal law that went into effect on January 1, 2022.
Usually, if you don't have or use health insurance to pay for your care, providers must give you a good faith estimate of how much it will cost. You get the estimate when you schedule care at least 3 business days in advance or if you ask for one. You may be able to dispute your bill if it’s at least $400 more than the estimate.
Because of the flexible nature of mental health therapy, it can be difficult to estimate the total cost of treatment. One way to determine what your course of therapy may cost is to multiply the expected number of sessions in a year by the cost per session.
Example: 1 session per week (52 sessions per year) x $165 per session = $8580 per year
This estimate may change depending on frequency of sessions, cancellations, pauses in treatment, and any extra sessions you may request. Please see my Fees page for a full list of services and fees.
